Friday was a smooth day. A little bit of travel, a little bit of touring Berkeley, a little catching up over lunch and a train trip into the city, let the adventures begin!Holly quickly assimilated to the Walk routine of check-in (we got all of our tents together, excellent!), dinner and a movie (The Proposal, don't expect a very complex or surprising story and you will be suitably entertained) and of course the trip to Walgreen's to gather the last-minute items and water needed to start the morning. The aforementioned sweatshirt did indeed prove to be a smart purchase!
Looking at the fresh and eager faces, it is easy to say, see you again next year!
